Uğurlu Konakları

The property, which opens its doors to guests in the town's history-laden Hisarardı neighbourhood with a past of over 100 years, is made up of two separate buildings within a 1.5-dönüm garden on the skirts of Kastamonu Castle. Uğurlu Konakları, which began serving guests in April 2009, has 25 rooms in total. With its traditional architecture and its wooden bay windows it inspires admiration at first sight. It was designed to keep alive Kastamonu's traditional home life in modern comfort. The property, within walking distance of the Şeyh Şaban-ı Veli Complex, one of the town's most important religious visiting centres, and of the old settlement centre with its history-scented authentic streets, is a special accommodation property offering stays 12 months a year.
