Tekir Köy Evi

A two-storey wooden house with 8 rooms within a garden, built according to Abkhazian cultural tradition, in the village of Saz in Düzce, surrounded on all four sides by forest. Built 106 years ago by the family's grandfather Ramazan Tekir, it is a wonderful address for those wanting to breathe the air. The surroundings are green as far as the eye can see. A genuine village breakfast and regional dishes are served in the garden as the weather warms. Through the walking trail runs a stream with an old water mill on it. Beyond it lies a waterfall. Natural products made in keeping with tradition and Abkhazian culture, such as Abkhazian cheese, grape juice, dried smoked meat and tarhana, are also sold.
