The Bodrum Bitter Herb Festival was held this year on 9-10 March 2024 with the cooperation and support of Bodrum Municipality, the Bodrum Chamber of Commerce, the Bodrum Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen and Oyder. At the Bitter Herb Festival, which opened its doors for the fifth time on 9-10 March, there were matchless flavours, healing plants and unforgettable performances, along with matchless moments in which music enveloped our spirits. At the festival, visited by hundreds of people and with around 300 participants whose stalls held regional delicacies, healing plants and handmade products, regional artists, chefs, teachers and folk dance groups each more valued than the last added colour to Ortakent for two days. While many natural plants such as hemlock, wild thistle, radish leaf, golden thistle, island lettuce and bitter herb featured on the stalls, dishes made from natural ingredients were also offered to the public. The festival, which ended on the first day with a Bora Gencer concert, finished on the second day with a concert by Onur Gülen and his Orchestra and an award ceremony.
