MivanUrfa Otel, located in the heart of Şanlıurfa on Demokrasi Avenue, where history and culture are blended, invites its guests into the enchanting atmosphere of Mesopotamia. Our hotel, only a 5-minute walk from Balıklıgöl, is in a unique location for those wanting to breathe in the town's mystical air. Our mansion, which has a deep-rooted past of some 600–700 years, is one of the rarest examples of Şanlıurfa's traditional architecture. Our building, constructed from the region's own Nahit stone, which has the property of staying cool in summer and warm in winter, has been restored in keeping with its original form to reach the comfort it has today. MivanUrfa, which serves with 16 rooms in total — suites, family and standard rooms — offers not so much a hotel as the warmth of a “stone house” with a lived history. With the historic well within our property, the 2 cellars carrying traces of the past and our special rooms each bearing traces of Mesopotamian history, we promise our guests something close to a journey through time. While you start the day with local flavours in our authentic hall for 60 people, you can end the day in peace accompanied by the unique night view of the historic quarter and of Urfa.
