Balıkesir Öğretmenevi

Balıkesir Teachers' House opened for service in 2015. Our establishment is in central Balıkesir, within walking distance of the shopping centre, the hospital and the courthouse. Balıkesir Teachers' House has 64 rooms in total: 59 Standard Rooms and 5 Suites. In the hotel section the rooms are made up of two- and three-person rooms and rooms for disabled guests. We have our cafeteria where you can drink tea and coffee, and our Sera Restaurant where you can order à la carte from Balıkesir and other Anatolian cuisines. We have 8 Halls of various capacities where you can hold weddings, engagements, circumcision feasts, meetings, conferences and seminars. In our garden we have our Car Park where you can park your car with ease.

In accordance with Article 11, Paragraph 9 of the Ministry of National Education's Directive on the Practice of Teachers' Houses and Evening Art Schools: “Those wanting to stay as a couple are asked to present a marriage certificate.”

In the accommodation charges, ages 0–6 are free and full charge is taken for other children.

Article 9 of our Regulation Concerning Booking Cancellations  

b) Those who cancel their accommodation bookings up to 5 days before the accommodation date are refunded the full amount they paid in advance. Those who cancel their bookings within the period when less than 5 days remain to the accommodation date are refunded the amount they paid in advance with a 20% deduction.

c) When accommodation is to be ended before the stated departure date, provided that the establishment is informed (by writing a petition) by 11.00 at the latest, the part of the accommodation charge taken in advance relating to the days not stayed is refunded with a 20% deduction.
